Mission Statement
Indie is a not-for-profit educational and media program dedicated to making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk young adults in the mid- Hudson valley region.
Our goal and our proven success is to put young people in the driving seat of their own lives, re-engage their love of learning, teach new skills or allow their own skills to blossom, and to give them a foothold in the real world.
As of June 2010 Indie is independent of all state aid and relies on a network of supporters to finance its programs which are free to all participants.
